Columbia University and the Open Society University Network (OSUN) teamed up to make a short documentary about the “Social Entrepreneurship Network Course” at Al-Quds Bard College / Al Quds University, and the excellent students who developed transformational and award-winning social entrepreneurship projects as part of the course. Because the film would be distributed widely across OSUN’s nearly 50 member institutions and beyond, they wanted to hire high-caliber local filmmakers capable of telling the story with nuance and conviction. Element Media supported the international film project with pre-production, production and post-production. We prepared for the production locally, supported with filming on location and edited the final film. The film stands as a testament to the cunning and passion of Palestine’s young people and the international professionals who support and encourage them.
