About

After nearly 20 years of helping Christians make their pilgrimage to the Holy Land, HLT recruited Element Media to document a full pilgrimage group experience. HLT wanted to capture the raw energy and transformative power of their pilgrimages, which center on engaging deeply with both the history and the people of the Holy Land. Element documented the experience of a group who came from California. For many, it was the first time they had ever traveled to Palestine. We filmed with the group for two weeks, documenting their experience with a filmic quality and intimacy that left many of them in tears at the screening.
